This is the companion book to Myth of the One. A post-script, if you will. It is about how love, unconditional, can absolve us of our past transgressions.
After putting together Myth of the One, I was writing new poetry about experiences that helped heal my damaged heart. Love found me, and helped me clear my head about all the bad stuff that had happened. I was jaded, I was a rock, firm in my resolve that love would never find me, that whomever I was supposed to be with was a mythical creature. I was destined to live in my parent’s house at the age of 40, and continue my miserable existence.
And then, there she was. And the words poured out of me for several years. And then Absolution was born, a short sweet read on how love can help you recover from all sorts of cuts and bruises.
